Traffic Bureau Statistics
- Traffic Collisions (22) This is 6 fewer than last month. When compaired to last year, we are still seeing a negative 12 percent change.
- Traffic Fatalities (0)
- Personal Injury Collisions (6) This number is 4 less than last month. When compaired to last year's figures we are negative by 33 percent.
- Non-Injury Collisions (16)
- Propery Damage Collisions (16) This number is 2 less than last month.
- Motorist Passenger Injuries (6) Only 1 less than last month but overall we see a 48 percent drop from last year.
- Pedestrian Injuries (3) One more this month than last.
- Bicyclist Injuries (2) One more this month than last.
- Hit and Run Collisions (6) June shows 3 less than May.
- Hazardous Cites Issued (450) June rocketed up over May with 81 more citations.
- Parking Cites Issued (1228) In prior months this figure was down because one of two street sweapers was not working. Looks like the second sweeper is now running. Police department parking officers follow the sweeper and cite any vehicle parked on the street. City streets are posted for no parking during street sweeping days.
- Driving Under Influence (DUI) Collisions (1) This is one less than last month.
- HBD (have been drinking) Collisions (0)
- Driving Under Influence (DUI) Arrests (14) Exactly the same number as last month. The pin maps show Yorba Linda Blvd with the most arrests, five.
- 30 Day Impounds Of Vehicles (88) For the year, this is the most impounds.
Note: The primary collision factors are speed (18%) followed by failure to yield (14%).

- Aggravated Assault (1) For the year, we are down by 56 percent from last year.
- Non-Aggravated Assault (16) We see two more than last month and we are up over last year by 18 percent.
- Property Crimes
- Residential Burglary (3) This figure is 3 lower than last month and for the year showing a reduction of 25 percent. Monday and Tuesday shows the highest incidents.
- Commercial Burglary (5) Looking at each month this year it seems we average between 4 and 5 except for May which jumped to 10. When one compaires with last year we see a 37 percent reduction. This crime took place consistent throughout the week and occured most frequently between 4pm an 8pm. One business in the city, again, had a door smash and cash register stolen.
- Vehicle Burglary (24) When one compaires each month this year with last year, no exception, each month shows an increase. We see a 44 percent increase in this crime this year compaired to last year. Saturday, between 8pm and midnight, is the favorate time for this crime. Two map pin groupings show near Angelina Drive and Placentia Avenue and also near Atwood.
- Grand Theft (9) Pretty much the same from last year and month to month.
- Petty Theft (18) A slight drop of 4 percent when compaied to last year.
- Vehicle Theft (10) We have noticed an increase in Toyota Tacoma trucks being stolen in Placentia and Anaheim. The Toyota Tacome is one of the most sold trucks in the United States which might suggest a reason. This month the figures doubled from last month but when compaired to last year, we are down by 16 percent.
