March Crime View Briefing For February
The March Crime View meeting could be summarized by overall satisfaction that most of the statistical numbers show improvement even though the department is short of sworn officers and the economy is placing stress upon the community.
The recent activation of the license plate reading (LPR) vehicle has been impressive as it came up with 3 hits. The department wants to purchase a second unit.
The police department has undergone one budget cutback and expects a second. The impound yard is generating some income to help defray these cutbacks.
